Julia Rust co-authored a novel called 'Life Inside a Ping-Pong Ball' at age seven. These days her writing partner is husband David Surface. She lives, hikes and gardens in New York’s Hudson Highlands. Her short fiction has been published in 'Many Mountains Moving', 'Nightscript Vols. III and VI', and 'Uncertainties, Vol. III'. She’s a practicing Buddhist, an actor when she’s hired (will do Eleanor of Aquitaine for parties), and proud mom of two boys, one girl, and two cats, not necessarily in that order.
David Surface lives by the Hudson River in a 160-year-old brick house that he shares with his wife, Julia Rust, and two cats, Howl and Greebo. He is the author of 'Terrible Things', a collection of short stories published by Black Shuck Books. David enjoys writing, teaching, old movies, obscure bookstores, medieval sacred music, vintage Halloween decorations, and good coffee (also not necessarily in that order).
